About the Tri-State Chamber of Commerce: The Tri-State Chamber of Commerce acts as the local Chamber of Commerce for the City of Port Jervis and Town of Deerpark, Orange County, NY, the Borough of Matamoras, Pike County, PA and the Village of Montague, Sussex County, NJ. These three communities are located in the three fastest growing counties in their respective states. This Chamber is located exactly in the middle of the hottest area of the Northeast. We are also used as the Regional Chamber by our members since we have members in 16 counties in these three states. We market to a huge area, crossing both state and county lines. Our membership investment is modest, so you can join us as well as other area Chambers. Our General Category of Membership is only $185.00 per year, and we do not charge per employee or charge registration fees. Other categories may be slightly higher.
"We make running a successful business easier."

Local Insight with a Regional Vision Your Marketing Partner: Marketing and advertising are necessary and expensive. The object is to get your information in front of a client or customer exactly when they are looking for your service or product. If you have an ad in today’s media and the customer is looking today—you win. If the customer is looking for your service or product tomorrow and you do not have an ad, you lose. The best advertising is “word of mouth” and frequency. The Chamber markets you every day in several forms (phone call referrals, web page referrals and event sponsorships marketing). The Chamber is always the Best Word of Mouth Advertising! Chamber membership and marketing is really the “good housekeeping seal of business approval”.

Local Recognition with Regional Exposure Executive Minute - June 2010 : The warm weather is upon us and we are gearing up for increased tourism in the Tri-State Area. Along with this comes additional traffic, which is made more difficult for our local businesses in Port Jervis, Montague and Matamoras due to the lane closing of the Matamoras Bridge of incoming traffic from PA to NY. The repairs are certainly necessary, but our businesses are experiencing a revenue hit as navigating through the detours are not proving to be easy or quick. The forecast from the Pennsylvania officials is to open the bridge to 2 lane traffic by July 4th weekend, which would certainly help matters, but the bridge repairs are not scheduled to be completed until October. We urge you to continue to “Shop Local” and patronize your favorite businesses affected by this repair – our goods and services are well worth the extra minutes you may spend in traffic. As with all great communities, we will survive and persevere and have a successful Spring and Summer. Please make sure you put on your calendar our events such as Business Blender, June 10th, Soap Box Derby, Sunday June 13th, Farmers Market each Saturday starting June 26th, Arts Walk on July 17th and stay tuned for more!
